Visiting Italy offers a wealth of culture, history, and stunning landscapes, with the Amalfi Coast as an absolute must-see.

To truly enjoy its beauty and explore at a comfortable pace, we suggest staying for 4-5 days.

This timeframe provides the opportunity to experience the highlights without feeling rushed.

Where to Stay: Choose to stay in Positano or Amalfi for their central locations and vibrant atmosphere.

Positano's romantic vibe and panoramic views are perfect for travelers looking for a mix of leisure and exploration.

Amalfi offers historical charm and easier access to nearby attractions.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Positano Exploration:

Arrive and settle into your accommodation in Positano. Spend the afternoon wandering the narrow streets, visiting local boutiques, and dining at a restaurant with views of the sea. Transportation within Positano is best done on foot or by local shuttle buses.

Day 2 - Amalfi and Ravello:

Take a morning ferry or bus to Amalfi. Visit the stunning Amalfi Cathedral and explore the town’s bustling piazza. In the afternoon, head up to Ravello by bus or taxi and enjoy the serene gardens of Villa Rufolo and the panoramic views from Villa Cimbrone. Return to Positano in the evening by bus or private transfer.

Day 3 - Boat Tour to Capri Embark on a full-day boat tour to Capri, departing from Positano or Amalfi. Experience the Faraglioni Rocks, visit the Blue Grotto (weather permitting), and explore Capri’s luxury shops and Anacapri’s peaceful streets. Return to your base with a sunset cruise back to the coast.

Day 4 - Explore Praiano and the Path of the Gods:

Start your day in Praiano, a quieter town known for its local charm. In the afternoon, hike the Path of the Gods, a breathtaking trail offering spectacular views of the coastline. This hike ends in Nocelle, near Positano, making it convenient to return by local bus.

Day 5 - Furore Fjord and Nerano Beach:

Spend your final day visiting the Furore Fjord by bus or boat to marvel at its unique landscape. Then head to Nerano to relax at Marina del Cantone beach and try the local specialty, spaghetti alla Nerano, before returning for a final evening stroll in Positano or Amalfi.

How to Get Around:

Public buses, ferries, and private car transfers are the most practical ways to navigate the Amalfi Coast. Renting a scooter is also an option for confident drivers. For longer day trips, ferries provide scenic and efficient travel along the coastline.

This itinerary ensures a balanced mix of exploration, leisure, and unforgettable sights, making your Amalfi Coast visit a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
